As many of you already know, a Stay-At-Home Order was issued by Wake County today, which is in effect from 5:00 p.m., Friday, March 27, 2020 through Friday, April 17, 2020.
We are writing to inform you of changes to the way we will be doing business in the upcoming weeks while this Stay-At-Home Order is in effect. Veterinary medicine is considered an essential service, so we will remain open during this time. Our hours, however, will be changing.
Effective Monday, March 30, we will be open Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. until 5:30 p.m., Saturday from 8 a.m. until 5:30 p.m., and closed on Sunday, until the Stay-At-Home Order has been lifted.
We will continue providing medical care for your pets, however, we will be limiting the services we offer. If your pet needs care, we are open for sick visits, emergencies, new puppy/kitten exam and vaccines, rabies vaccinations, grooming services (limited to those necessary to prevent matting and discomfort for the pet), and medication refills (including heartworm and flea/tick prevention). All other services will be suspended at this time and we will be calling to reschedule any visits that do not meet these requirements. If you have any questions about whether your pet can be seen during this time, please contact our office either by phone (919-462-1212), text (919-462-1212) or email (staff@graceparkvets.com).
We will continue curbside service for all visits until further notice. If you are sick with a fever of 100.4 or greater, or experiencing any other COVID-19 symptoms, please let us know. If possible, we ask that you reschedule your pet’s appointment or have someone else bring them.
Thank you all for your understanding and patience during this difficult time. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.
