Amy grew up in northern Virginia, until her family relocated to Raleigh, NC. She attended North Carolina State University where she received a BS in Business Management. Amy had always been interested in pursuing a career in the veterinary field. She started as an animal care taker while in college and later performed medical transcription for a local veterinary clinic. In 2008, Amy joined her husband, Dr. Strunck, as the Hospital Administrator of Grace Park Animal Hospital.
When not at work, Amy loves spending time with her husband, kids, dogs, cats, and rats. She also enjoys crafting, especially sewing and knitting.
