Grace Park Animal Hospital is dedicated to helping our clients care for their pets. We realize that payment for treatment and affordability are often concerns. You can request an estimate for services prior to your visit.

Please review our financial requirements summarized below. If you have any financial limitations, please let us know before services are rendered.

Payment for all services and products is expected at the time of your visit. We accept the following forms of payment:
• Cash
• Check (with valid ID); We use Unity Fy, which converts returned items into an electronic transaction and re-presents it two more times through ACH to attempt collection.
• Credit Card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover)
• Care Credit (If you have not been pre-approved, please click here to apply before your visit.)

Please let us know if your pet is covered by insurance. We participate in Trupanion Direct Payments. If you would like to be eligible for paying with Trupanion Direct Payments, we require a credit card be on file to cover charges that are not covered by Trupanion. This may include items not covered by your insurance plan, as well as deductibles.
For all other insurance, we do not file claims for clients. Payment is expected at the time of your pet’s visit. We will then provide you with the appropriate visit information to ensure you can file directly with your insurance company.

We offer a variety of Preventive Health Plans (PHP) for your pet to help you spread the cost of preventive care out over the course of the year. This is not an insurance plan. Payment for services used under the plan is required if you choose to cancel the plan prior to its completion. For more information on the Preventive Health Program, click here.

We participate with Covetrus Payment Solutions, a secure Payment Processing Platform. Credit cards must be stored to participate in the PHP. Storing your credit stored credit card can also be used to pay for products and services. This service is secure, encrypted, and our staff does not have knowledge of your full credit card number, only the last 4 digits and expiration date.
Circumstances when your card would be charged by GPAH include but are not limited to:
• PHP payments
• DayCamp payments
• Missed charges
• Charges incurred that are not covered by your direct pay insurance provider (i.e., Trupanion)
If your balance due is larger than $200.00, we will provide a courtesy call and email to let you know we will be charging your card on file.

Financial Hardship
Should you have extraordinary financial pressures, we ask that you apply for Care Credit. In the event that you are declined, we may be able to assist you by setting up an in-house payment plan. The plan will need to be IN WRITING with our billing department prior to scheduling future visits. The balance is subject to interest and service charge and must be paid off within the next 6 months. No additional charges can be added to a payment plan.

Keeping a credit card on file can help prevent service charges. Service charges are accrued on payment plans, late payments, and failure to pay bills.
• All unpaid balances are subject to an 18% APR service charge and a $3.00 monthly statement handling fee.
• $35 administrative service charge will be added for returned checks.
• Accounts will be turned over to a collection agency if past due 90 days or more. You will be charged a $35 administrative fee plus an additional 25% of the unpaid balance to cover collection agency fees. Failure to pay the balance may result in discharge from the practice. You are responsible for all collection costs involved with the collection of your account including court costs, reasonable attorney fees, and all other expenses incurred with collection if there is a default on any unpaid balance.
